Tyburn: Deadly Nevergreen tells the legend of London's first public gallows, the Tyburn Tree. The infamous Tyburn Tree is best known for ending the lives of murderers and royalty alike, and the ghosts who haunt the purgatory of the gallows are damned to retell their fateful tales. The play is narrated with prose and music by Jack Ketch, the most infamous hangman associated with the Tyburn Tree, played by the nefarious Terry Burnsed. Tyburn also featured live sand drawing and projection work by Alex Polzin.
Tyburn: Deadly Nevergreen ran from February 20th - 28th at The Bakery Arts Warehouse.
